Program Description
- Learn law enforcement terminology, classification, and elements of a crime
- Discover how various court systems are used to judge and punish offenders
- Collect and analyze evidence through case studies and simulated crime scene such as fingerprint analysis, ballistics, and blood spatter analysis
- Learn skills necessary to prevent, detect, and react to crime
- Learn self-defense and subject control techniques, methods to conduct patrols, surveillance and traffic procedures
- Demonstrate skills learned in basic first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use of Automated External Defibrillation (AED), and APCO 911 Basic Telecommunicator certification
