After attending school for 2 years pursuing a teaching degree at LCSC in Lewiston, I decided to follow my long-time dream of exploring a baking career and I packed up all my stuff and moved to Couer d'Alene, Idaho. While I was there, I attended Spokane Community College where I learned a lot of cake decorating techniques in about 9 weeks. I learned everything from how to ice a cake in 5 minutes to how to make a gum paste rose. These 9 weeks were extremely beneficial to me and I loved them so much. I decided to do this because I wanted to make sure that a baking career was something I was truly interested in. Turns out it was exactly what I wanted to be doing.
